These include a bowl of clean tap water, and a microfiber cloth. You purchase a microfiber cloth from various iPhone retailers.
Now place the water on the floor and put your phone on top of the table, to avoid any possibility of water splashes falling on it. dip one of the corners of the cloth into the water, allowing it soak but at the same time dry enough not to leave traces of water behind after wiping. To know if it is OK to be applied on your iPhone, press the cloth. If it drips out water, then it is too saturated. Continue pressing til it doesn’t drip out water any more. You want to be able to wipe your iPhone screen without having drops or traces of water left behind.
Next, use the slightly wetted cloth and wipe the screen of your iPhone in an up-and-down motion. Do not wipe in circles or randomly, since this can leave behind smudges that are unsightly when you turn on your iPhone. It should take you one or two wipes to clean the entire surface of your iPhone. As far as How often you can clean your device depends on how often you use it and what kind of environment you use it in. Average iPhone users clean their iPhone once a week, maybe once every two weeks.
Lastly, make sure to NEVER use any kind of chemical agents to clean your iPhone, because these sometimes hinder the way the screen interacts with you, and may even lead to malfunction. When you are cleaning your iPhone, take your time and ensure that you take proper care, and don’t do it if you are in a hurry.
